Another weekend and I have a feeling that many people returning to college will not get as much gaming this Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to all the returning colleges and high school students. But in-between moving into dorms, apartments, etc., and for the rest of us, what will you be playing this weekend?

Shadow Complex, some of the demos that came out this week and Assassin's Creed to top it all off.

Anachronox, almost done it. So might play some Hearts of Iron 3, or another game from my collection. Ah, old games, so good.

Shadow Complex to top it all off.
Fixed.

I have not played a game that had me this involved in a long time...
I'll mix it up with some CoD4 and some Fable 2 on the down-time though.

Look me up if anybody wants to play anything else, I'm on vacation ALL NEXT WEEK! :D

I've played about 15 minutes of Shadow Complex and I'm really hoping I can find some more time for it this weekend, looks like exactly the game I want it to be so far.

My wife is excited that I want to try Baldurs Gate 2 again. I never got far the first time.

Age of Conan, continuing through The Witcher, maybe some Battlefield 1943

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires - My thumb has an A-button imprint already.
Shadow Complex
1 vs. 100 - If they fix whatever issue I was having last night with my version not matching the version that people were playing.

Edit: My brother is saying great things about Aion, so I'll be trying to get the beta for that.

Finally got DemiGod. Even singleplayer, this game is a blast.

Shadow complex on the 360 and some Tomb Raider Anniversary on the PSP. Also might start up Final Fantasy X again and actually finish it.

Since everyone is raving about Shadow Complex I might go ahead and download it. Will also be playing LotROL.

Assuming I don't have to work all weekend, I'd like to finish my playthrough of the single-player campaign of Splosion Man. Also, I'll probably try to finish up my second run through of Voodoo Vince on the old Xbox.

Speaking of which, am I the only one who gets irritated at Sackboy from LBP being such as obvious burlap rip-off of Vince? I mean, sure Sackboy's got lots of cool costumes he can change into, but where's the personality? The snarkiness? I'll take VV any day.

Congrats on the new baby boy! Be sure to raise him right, and play through Super Mario Bros. 3 at least once a month while holding him in your lap. If you do right by him, his first words should be "ba-dum-dum-ba-dum-BUM-dum". :)

I guess RE: Chain of Memories. I also might have time for a little SF4 since I got it on super sale with Gamefly coupons. By the way, complain enough and they will definitely give you free money.

But mostly, I will be watching Dexter: Season 3 on Blu-Ray! Who else loves them some Dexter?

Why Madden and Wolfenstein, my good man. Some CoD as icing on the cake, as it should be.

Tally-ho! Off to the weekend!

Good luck to all the returning colleges and high school students.

Hey, what about us teachers? This is my last free weekend of the summer too! :) I've been doing some late-night gaming all week knowing that it's coming to an abrupt end!

I have a feeling it's going to be a Day of Defeat weekend for me, maybe some Red Orchestra if I'm feeling a little more serious. I had planned on finishing Crayon Physics, but I'm working with a new install of Windows and can't get my saved games to transfer over properly. Fun game, but I don't want to start completely over.

Not really gaming, but sorta gaming related - I've been having fun goofing around with virtual machines for no particular reason other than, well, the enjoyment of knob-dicking on a PC. This was the result:

But all that reminiscing made me think about some of the classics, so I may be playing some oldies in DOSBox or visiting GoG as well.

I've thought about teaching simply because of all the time off you guys get. The job seems like it would be very difficult though.

My classes do start next week. Lucky me that I get to say at home, and that I'm only going part time (I still need to keep working!).

But I'm going to run there quick and get a few things straightened out and see if I can get my books.

Then since all my games are finished (besides Fallout DLC) I'm going to stop at Best Buy and see what they got.

I rented Ghostbusters so definitely some of that. I also got the demo for Shadow Complex, so if that is fun I will probably buy that one. I will also try to get in some time with Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

GTA IV on my brand new Jasper.

Knowing from Engadget there's little difference between Falcon & a Jasper except the GPU size I gotta watch my gaming session precariously. A far cry from the way I did 7 hrs straight playing Civilization 4.

Figured I should actually try to finish Zelda: Twilight Princes, never got more than a few hours into it when it came out, and never had the time. Plus, motion control to swing a sword = annoying. Apart from that it's okay. First Zelda that Miyamoto didn't directly produce and it sure shows.
