As a good college friend used to say, "If it's free... it's mine".

27th of January?
Really?

Can't seem to find any more info on the site than that, but I'm downloading it anyway. Likewise I'll take it for a spin with the wheel and see what it's like.

Trackmania: Sunrise, was the game that made me buy a gamepad for the PC. It really is great fun... Not sure how good this game is with a steering wheel - all those incredibly fast turns (not to mention mid-air rotations) could make it tricky. I've never tried it though...

mrpoppy-
Can't vouch totally, but I've golded the first 30 tracks, beating some of the Nadeo high scores (about 7). I don't know how that compares to those using pads?

Yeah, anyone know what's up with the protection stuff? Looks like they called it "Frontline Pro" after reboot, but I can't seem to find any info on it.

"oh no starforce" .. the horror. Seriously. Stop being so whiney!

Installed, plays great, designed my own skin, but they need to improve multiplayer, it's a lag fest of epic proportions! Love the design of the cars too.

Yep, this put Starforce on my computer, which I then removed. Saw on Kotaku on how to see if you have it...
Right Click on My Computer, select Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager, then under View, select "Show hidden devices", then look under Non Plug and Play devices. If you have Starforce, there will be 3 drivers for it listed there. And yes, it is a horror.
