That Bioshock and Elder Scrolls double pack 2K put out was pretty hot, but Capcom is trying to one up them by putting out a pack with three big hits. Devil May Cry 4, Dead Rising and Lost Planet will all be in one affordable $40 package starting September 8th.

Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced the Platinum Hits Triple Pack for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. This affordable collection of three of Capcom’s greatest games for the Xbox 360 will be available for a suggested retail price of $39.99 beginning September 8, 2009.

The Platinum Hits Triple Pack combines Dead Rising®, Lost Planet®: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition, & Devil May Cry® 4 all in one box. Each of these games has been awarded Platinum Hits “Best Seller” status and together have sold over 3 million units in North America alone. Any gamer who had the bad luck of missing these legendary titles, will now have a chance to redeem themselves for a great low price.

This is an awesome deal with three great games.

@SilverS: there's no Dead Rising for the PS3. I own the X360 ver. but wished for a PS3 port.

Yeah, if they port Dead Rising to the PS3 then they'll definitely be wanting to get paid full price for it.

I'm going to buy this 3-pack. What a great deal. I liked or loved these games but I don't currently own them.

I'm mildly interested in both Dead Rising and Lost Planet. I hated DMC4.
Saw Lost Planet at a used book store this weekend for $4. I may go back and grab that version.

The complaints about the Dead Rising save system have kept me from purchasing cheap editions I've seen around town.

Dead Rising is awesome. It's worth every penny at 20 bucks(and cheaper if you can find it).

If it clicks with you, there's a lot of replay value there as well.
