Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports-blog/909097139/26990547/nhl-2k10-exclusive-first-hands-on.html?tag=topslot;title;3)has an exclusive first hands on preview of NHL 2k10 in which they talk about AI, new controls, online play and stumble shots.

From an AI standpoint, producers told me that a lot of work has been put into the game in the hopes of improving the CPUs ability to keep possession of the puck in the offensive zone, as well as interrupt passing lanes. In the former case, that's certainly true; on the default difficulty, the AI cycles the puck well, and it can be a chore to gain back possession of the puck.

Have they fixed the part where if you cannot meet the minimum roster size because of injuries it doesn't look up until you start a season over? or maybe the part if you get over 256 pts it doesnt go to -256?

Probably. I really hope 2K improves though, if only to ensure that NHL keeps innovating. :)

Since the generation change, 2K's sports games have been lacking unfortunately.

Counting a company out like that is really a bad move. EA sucked NHL2002 - 2005 (NHL2004 was pretty good though).
2K owned the market 2k2-2k6(And 2k5 is the king of the crop).
Visual concepts have taken over the reigns, and 2k9 was unfinished, 2k10 has the potential to be really good.

A few key elements can make a huge difference, EA exploits moves online is one, stick lifts being to good and players losing speed while sticklifted is another, online is better with 2K (online leagues with homepage and management options for example, which EA lacks).

2k9 was bad compared to 09, but the physics is better in 2K, and with a full cycle , who knows. ANd for a hockeyfan like me, EA and 2K have always presented 2 flavours, and delivered different things. I count on that this year also.

Oh, btw, lacking ?NBA2k? Donīt insult our intelligence. NBA live is the poop of sport games. NBA2K is the best rated and most dominant force of all the sport games released each year.

Does anyone know can you play this game 6v6 online?

If so, I might have to go this route since EA has decided to waste their time on FPfighting.
NHL 09 was only barely enjoyable because of the be a pro mode; the online 6v6 mode was ruined by people constantly starting fights, and that was with an idiotic fighting mechanic, you'll never get to play now that it's FPF.

I guess the answer to my question is: "yes".
Since they had 6v6 online last year.
