Suikoden V is the only game on that list I'm excited about. But, then, I've been a fanboy of the series since the PS1 days, so its sort of understandable.

Hopefully Suikoden V is a better game than IV was. I never played it myself, but I heard fans spit.

What in the Sam Hill?

I'm not too sure how different the two versions are but i have Pro Evolution soccer 5 for PC which is aparently the identicle twin of WS:WE9. Its really good, but probably better on console than PC. But i wouldn't know. Maybe they have made the PC version better in the Winning eleven version. The PE5 pc is more like a bad port from the ps2 copy, but it is still awesome none the less.

What the fuck?
Has MS changed the Xbox name to match the length and stupidity of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim?

You're an angry fella, Reanimated. :)
Plus, the PS2's correct name is Sony PlayStation 2 Computer Entertainment System. The above is probably down to Konami and not Microsoft.

Winning Eleven have been the only soccer games worth playing for a while.
I do not even like real soccer and think that these games are great.
Wait...does that kill my credibility on the subject?

Silent Hill Experience (PSP)
Konami today announced Silent Hill Experience, a new form of interactive UMD that promises to submerge players in all manners of spookiness. The UMD will include content from all four Silent Hill games and the upcoming feature film. You can expect interviews with the director of the movie, as well as a chat with the composer, and a slew of other DVD-like extras.
There will also be movie stills and game stills, along with a series of trailers. Perhaps the coolest aspect of the release will be a string of exclusive animated comics written by longtime Silent Hill author Scott Ciencin. There should be six in all, with each lasting around 15 minutes. From a recent presentation, these comics, illustrated by Steve Perkins and Alex Shibao, look downright impressive and should please any fan. Basically, they're a mix of 2D and 3D hand drawn art, but they're edited in a way to make them feel very dynamic. They're also partially interactive with animated transitions.
"Konami has created an entirely new genre for the PSP system, combining a variety of media onto one package and showcasing the renowned Silent Hill franchise in a way that has never been done before," said Wilson Cheng, Product Manager, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "Fans of the Silent Hill series and horror fans alike will appreciate all the exclusive content as well as get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Silent Hill movie."
You can also expect music content such as a selection of songs from the Silent Hill videogames. The disk will pack some 20 tracks hand-picked by Akira Yamaoka.

Wow. What a blatant cash-cow/movie tie in. Damn you Konami. In a way I'm happy though. This way I won't have to buy another PSP. If it was a remake of SH1 with new graphics and content, well, I'd be dropping some more cash the day this came out.
But anyway.

Yeah, I second the notion that I'm glad they didn't announce Silent Hill content for the PSP that's worth a damn. A remake would be enough to make ME drop money on the PSP, and I've hated it since shortly after release when no other games appeared...
It shouldn't be a PSP, should be called a MSP, movie-station-portable. Which I'm sure someone's mentioned in the past... but beating dead horsies is fun on teh Evil Avatar!!1!

I second that, if it had been a new SH game or a remake of the first, I'd have to buy me a PSP (or steal one, since Im boycotting Sony). Glad it isnt.

Indeed, how could you miss that, it is almost worth buying a PSP for.
Oh, and about the Soccer. I assume most of you just got it, but it was a joke for those with exceptional skull density.

Ahem:
beatmania
Release date: Spring 2006
Genre: Music
Platform: PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system
beatmania is a revolutionary new interactive DJ simulation game for the PlayStation 2, which combines high-energy pulsating music with cutting-edge videos. Utilizing a specially designed DJ controller and featuring more than 50 tracks, beatmania lets gamers feel the vibe, drop the beats and create the pulsing energy of a club in their own homes.
Don't let them trick you by calling it new either. There are dozens of beatmania games out in Japan with hundreds of songs. If you have a little patience and can get over the learning curve you can enjoy this game for years. You can constantly find ways to challenge yourself. Beatmania is the best rhythm game out there, bar none.
If you liked Guitar Hero, Beatmania is probably worth a shot. You won't find too many popular songs but they'll definitely grow on you.

I guess I'm the only one that notices that Metal Gear Solid 4 is not on that list. I had a bunch of Sony fanboys at work trying to convince me Sony would make sure it was a near-launch title.
I for one am not looking forward to MGS4 since they said it'll be most like 2, which was one of my biggest gaming disapointments of all time.
