Gamecloud has posted an interview (http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=3180) with Voodoo PC founder Rahul Sood, talking about his gaming PC company.

Gamecloud: Voodoo also has a line of laptops. Is the company confident that laptops are finally a solid PC gaming machine that can rival a desktop?

Rahul Sood: Yep, especially now that we’re working with the latest NVIDIA and ATi graphics. We are also working on introducing multi-gpu platforms from both companies as they both have something to offer.

My brother owns 3 of these machines. I've met Rahul. Clearly VooDoo PC is the best of the best. Love Falcon but VooDoo is all about the very best.

So what's the advanage of having a voodoo pc over a pc that you built yourself, both having the same specs? I know they dip their cases in 24k gold or whatever but is the setup they give you realistically worth the cash?

Not everyone wants to venture into the world of build. VooDoo offers upgrades and amazing service. The system is put together and setup for the Gamer. run into an issue and they will sweat night and day until it's solved. Agreed your paying the price but imagine these guys are Roll Royce. It's really that good!

Otherwise, no advantage. You are paying a premium price for off the shelf parts and a sick paint job. If you are not comfortably building it yourself, you can save yourself a hefty amount of cash by heading to a local PC mom'n'pop shop and having them build you a customized PC.
