Uncharted 2 Doesn't Need Install

And that can only be a good thing. When you buy your shiny new copy of Naughty Dog's shinier new game you will be able to play straight away. Unlike a lot of PS3 exclusives (and software in general) it will not require a hard drive install according to Chris Balestra.

I hope it comes with an optional install. I'll gladly wait the few minutes to install a game if it cuts down on load times when I'm actually playing it. (Same reason why I copy my 360 games to the drive)

No install on the first one, nor is there one here. I guess its not really a surprise. I remember on the first one when you first would boot up the game the load time was pretty terrible, but once you were playing from area to area there was no noticeable loading.

The only thing needed for Uncharted 1 is 2.56 MB, so tough luck for 20GB PS3 owners. :D

Ninja Gaiden Sigma did it that way!

its a great game, but i'm sure i'll still cringe when i see those 720p graphics stretched out on a big tv.
