The official Battlefield 2 page (http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/euroforce.jsp) has updated with information about the features in the upcoming booster pack, "Euro Force." There is a flash page featuring pictures of the weapons, vehicles, etc.

It's all well and good adding new content. But how about fixing the current content and start by finally bringing out 1.2. Or are EA expecting us to pay $9.99 or some other un-closed amount of money for the ability to simply copy and paste ip's into a in-game server browser? pfft, least the models look nice....

Dude 1.2 is going to be a major patch. Dont worry about it. The IFF may still be a problem, though, but the major problems should be fixed. Im expecting it by the end of this week, but thats pure speculation.

One of the biggest improvements in the patch will be AA that actually works.

I would rather have seen this as a free patch. "booster pack" sounds like "wtfqwned"

Its $10. No big deal. And you get all the functional stuff in the patch.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal that EA is charging ten bucks for optional content. I'm sure they'll allow the new unlocks to be used on vanilla servers, just like they do with special forces. It's those unlocks that prompted me to purchase the expansion pack in the first place. But the ten bucks thing is bothering me. Is that really such a big deal? They do this kind of thing with XBOX live and I don't see anyone throwing a fit about it.

The patch is indeed freaking hot. Its really a tweak patch, lots of little things that add up to breathe life into the least balanced portions of the game.
