Anyone who doesn't feel like tuning in to the full show should know that this segment will probably be available for download on their video podcast. It's where I get my AOTS fix without having to sit through the whole thing every day.

RIP Screensavers

Kevin Perrera or however it's spelled and Wil O'Neal, who used to be a writer for Computer Gaming World. At least those are the main two, I think.

This Week in Tech podcast > all of G4

I'm gonna check that out, even though tech in general doesn't always interest me.

G4 isn't as bad as people make it out to be... or at least, some of it isn't. The main problem with that network are the executives. I mean, who green lighted "Video Game Vixens?"

I agree wholeheartedly. I still get at least a worthwhile enough amount of entertainment out of the real game-focused shows that I still watch. The stuff like Attack of the Show, X-Play, and Cinematech. It's the crazy, stupid shit that gives the channel a bad name.

No, Will is only on there sometimes. Now it is pretty much Sarah Lane, Kevin Pereira, and Brendan Moran.

Aha. My bad. Well, like I said, I mostly only watch the vidcast clips, so. :p

The Screensavers was far, far superior but I still watch AOTS considering its really the only show of its kind. They jsut do to many skit like things now. Usually its good, no major problems, though 80% of the other shows suck, pretty much other than X-Play and Cinematech like Kefkataran said.

It would be so easy for them to just do a couple more X-play or AOTS-style shows and drop some of their filler crap. Sons of bitches. Grumble grumble.

The show Icons isn't bad. The ones I've caught, anyway. AOTS isn't "bad." X-Play is sadly a 'required' type of show. (Isn't that the review show?) And Cinematech actually makes good background TV. Between rounds of CivIV it and recorded TV shows can be a nice distraction.

Icons is a great idea for a show but executed poorly. They either need to update them in the end (take like 2 minutes and add it in, text only if need be) or never show them again after a few months.
Have you not seen the one where the guy is looking forward to “The Sims Online” release and predicts that it will do exceptionally well?

G4 is turning into the other channels like MTV, where you had to go to MTV2 to see music videos. Soon we are going to tune into G4TV 2 just to see any show with games in them. Last few months alone they added Fastlane, The Man Show, and Star Trek. I have even seen an AOTS where they spend no time at all on any game or even mention one.

and since when does "the man show" have ANYTHING to fucking do with video gaming/technology??? damn you g4, you used to be semi-decent...
