Sorry for the lack of news today. Normally, Sunday night is one of my nights off and I'm able to pitch in and dig up some good gaming news, but if you have discovered the Car Accident Thread (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9042), you might guess that I spent most of the day at the Hospital today getting scanned, X-rayed and X-rayed again.

I'm going to relax for the rest of the night and just watch some DVD's, play some games and read a book and tomorrow I'll be back in the saddle.

I think I've been cursed to live in interesting times.

Update: In the "All Things Zombie" category, musician Richard Cheese (http://www.iloverichardcheese.com/) has generously offered to replace my music CD, Tuxicity, which contains Richard's cover of Disturbed's (Down with) The Sickness, which is featured in the Living-in-the-mall montage in the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead. The CD, which was playing in my car when I was sideswiped, was destroyed in the accident. Is that cool or what?

It is a great album, I love Richard's version of The Sickness and I about choked on my Diet Pepsi when I heard his tribute to Brittany Spears.

Enjoy your quiet evening. I'll be doing that as well after a long couple days of work. Glad you're okay after the accident.

Yeah again gald you are ok. Maybe Cheese was worried he might be liable as laughing while driving could be dangerous. Even though it had nothing to do with it, I hear he likes to be careful.

Hah, I thought I was the only one who had heard of Richard Cheese.

It's so strange to hear songs you know turned into lounge music. Good stuff though!

Dick Cheese is the man. That is awesome. Not the accident, but him replacing the CD.

Man, honestly, I hated that version of The Sickness in Dawn of the Dead. My sister nearly cried, she was so horrified. None the less, now that I know there's a whole series of these... it's funnier. And hey, if you like it, you can't beat getting a new one by Richard himself. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, there's a clip in AMV Hell 1 with his cover of Chop Suey that's funny as heck.

Glad to hear that the Avatar of Evil is doing well and has Tuxicity back in the collection. Just read your whole ordeal and it just flows with bad karma. I guess something fantastically good should happen to you next.

Read the other thread, happy to hear you came out of that in one piece. Could have been so much worse.

And Richard Cheese is THE man, his songs are great. Should help pick up the spirits a bit. :)

Unless I am mistaken, Richard Cheese also contributed voicework to the Batman Beyond animated series, which is a favorite.

Man, I just made a Pandora (www.pandora.com) station for Richard Cheese.
That's seriously fucked up. Especially his version of Closer by Nine Inch Nails.

Funny, though.

Yeah relax and recover. I'm still getting over the massive pwning of Mastertech by Subbacultcha in the Firefox Myths thread.

If you haven't seen it yet have a look for yourself:

good work Subbacultcha!

I think I've been cursed to live in interesting times. You're not kidding Evil. Since I've been reading this site you've had far more of this kind of stuff (car accident, rescuing someone from a car accident, coworker shooting a fellow coworker, etc.) happen to you than I would expect happens to the average person.

You didn't make the mistake of saying out loud that you wanted an interesting life did you?

It's super cool, even if I have to pretend I live in Beverly Hills 90210 to use it.

Get well soon, Evil. Cannot believe the shitty luck you get, man.
On the plus side, you have a site full of people to wish you well on.
If wishes were horses, you'd be Genghis.

It sucks to hear about the crash, take some time away from things that want to hurt your dude.
It's very cool to hear about this web site, thank you very much nonchalance.

You can. You just have to lie about your zip code. As I said, I live in 90210, despite the fact I live in Australia.
