In case all you Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe fans out there were still holding their collective breath, you should let it out. Originally Midway had plans to release some DLC for this inter-dimensional fighter, but now Giant Bomb (http://www.giantbomb.com/news/no-dlc-for-mortal-kombat-vs-dc-universe/1527/) has word that the dream has been crushed and DLC plans have been canceled.
Today, we finally got an official confirmation that the DLC plans are no more. Boon posted an image of Quan Chi up on Twitter and stated that while he's excited about MK9 and the Warner Bros. deal, he wishes that the MKvDC DLC could have been released. Given how much has happened to Midway since MKvDC's release, it's not too surprising to hear that the plans are off, but since we still hadn't heard anything official, it felt like it was worth passing on. So if you're out there holding a candle for Quan Chi vs. Superman, now you know.
That game was pretty darn good.
