Gamersyde (http://www.gamersyde.com/news_8204_en.html) has seventeen whole minutes of Tim Schafer's newest game, Brutal Legend, narrated by Tim himself. This has a lot to do with the story of the game so if you want to be a Brutal virgin, I suggest you give it a pass.
EA and Double Fine are fine tuning Brutal Legend's October release. Meanwhile, they offer us no less than seventeen (!) minutes of gameplay commented by the brilliant creator of the game, Tim Schaffer. Brutal.
Looks to be shaping up quite well.
Hehe that looks awesome. Loved it when he rode that first mount by saying "prayer" :D

A bit rough around the edges, but man does it look awesome.

Has the Activision lawsuit been dealt with yet, or is this still looking to be delayed some more?

I would like to play this game NOW. :)
Also, I'm super glad to see that they are marketing the crap out of this game. . . unlike Psychonauts.

My interest for this game just rose. Damn that looks awesome! But then again, is has Jack Black in it. It can't fail.

I am just glad that Tim finally found a Distributor who understands the concept of hyping and advertising a game. Maybe he will finally get the credit he deserves?

I'm reserving judgement for "Year One" since I haven't seen it yet;) We'll see.

That video went pretty quick, which is very good sign. Plus I laughed out loud a couple times. This will be a must buy!

I went with the ladyfriend without consulting rotten tomatoes first (how bad can it be right? I like JB and Michael Cera). I've never walked out of a movie in my life. The only reason I didn't was because I thought the ladyfriend was enjoying it. Come to find out, the only reason she didn't suggest leaving was because she thought I was enjoying it.../sigh
Moral: communication is important in relationships and bad movies.
Anyway, back on topic...I really hope this lives up to psychonauts. The actual gameplay looks a little generic, but as long as it's not bad that's fine. I also cringe a little bit every time I hear "open world" now...but I'm optimistic. The world itself looks like an episode of metalocalypse on crack.

The walk animation pre picking up a weapon was pretty bad. Plus the visuals arent all that great. I found myself skipping around since I was getting bored and the constant quips by Jack Black got a bit old. Maybe you can mute him. I don't find him particularly funny in general, just in small doses. I was trying to think if Psychonauts had a constant flow of remarks the whole time. All I remember is that the overall game was great, so I will give this a chance.

Heh, yeah, that does sound pretty bad. Well, none the less, I'm going to watch it on DVD, when the time comes. There's a tone of other movies I have to watch in the theaters instead.

I'm sick of hearing about this game already, and it isn't even out yet. And I think Jack Black is about as funny as a hang nail, but to each their own, I guess.

Does the video explain why they replaced Dio with Tim Curry?

I like what I see, and I see what I want....to play this game as soon as possible. Let's all have a prayer for a demo...
