Former Tennessee Titans Quarterback and MVP Steve McNair has been found dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Some people are saying it was a murder suicide pact, nothing official so far. ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4306275):
"We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair's passing today," Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams Jr. said in a statement. "He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing."
Any more celebs gonna kick the bucket?

People die all the time, some of the recent ones just happen to be famous and unlucky.
In answer to your question: yes, defintely. More celebrities will die at some point. You heard it here first.

CNN.com has been grasping at straws all week to find dying celebrities. IT's been hilarious and sad to watch. The best one was the top headline being an actor who died at 92 but they wrotei it like it was scanadlous.

I want to know more. It is hard to feel sorry for someone who may have committed murder.
However, he may have also been a victim of murder in which case he definitely doesn't deserve to be suspected of murder.

Based on how ESPN covered him during his playing years, I'm a little shocked he would be able to tough out being shot in the head.

Unbelievably tragic. DUI aside, he was a really great guy. And as a Tennessee native and football fan, let me just say thanks for all the fantastic seasons Mcnair put in wearing a Titans (and Oilers) jersey.
Rest in peace, Steve.

I saw an HBO Special with him; seemed like a pretty down to earth guy. I liked his play style and it is sad to see him pass.

I wonder if they could have found a slightly less psycho-looking pic to go with the story. He looks like he's ready to shoot the photographer in the head . . .

R.I.P., Steve.
He was never one of my favorite players, but I respected him - always seemed like a tough guy and a great competitor.

I live about ten minutes from where it happened. "His condo" wasnt in a good part of town, everyone here is still shocked though, there were tons of people gathered out by the scene and at LP Field.

Since he died.
Sicne he Shared the Co MVP with payton manning if not when he led the titans to the superbowl. He was a tough SOb though I remeber fox dissecting all the injuries he had during one game and there was at least 5-7. I guess thats why he married a nurse..... wondering if the woman was the mistress.... Well its been announced as basically his girl on the side.... Cnn/Si has updated the story.... They dont think his wife was involved though. If its murder/suicide at least it wont be male killing female for once....

Since he died.
Hahha, tis true!
As far as AirMcNair, well, what can you say? He's the best player the Titans ever had, and it sucks to see him die so young.
What is this biz about it being a suicide/murder? Someone explain this to me like I'm two.

At least this can't be blamed on the Madden Curse.

So this might be insensitive of me, but that dude looked like something I made in the Oblivion character creator.
Just sayin.

Looks like he was the victim. The original story was updated after I posted it and now includes language that he was shot multiple times while the girl there was shot once in the head.

He gave us some great games during the end of his career in Baltimore and led us to a 13 - 3 season when we needed veteran leadership. When he was our rival in Tenn and when leading our offense in a Ravens jersey Steve McNair was a class act. He will be missed.

Latest reports looks like it was some Fatal Attraction shit. Got hooked up with some mental strange and payed the price. Keep your dick in your pants and don't cheat on your wife. Not saying he deserved it by any means, but if he had been faithful he would probably still be alive.

Pretty sad times when Michael Jackson and Steve McNair die, yet the heart of a carpetbagger like Art Modell continues to beat.

He should have watched Fatal Attraction and realized that cheating on your wife, not a good thing.
I like how he was with his girlfriend and not his wife and kids on the 4th of July. His wife is devastated according to the news as you can imagine finding out that your husband is dead and that he was cheating on you. Found all that out in the same day. Damn that is tough. Feel bad for those kids too.
