The Fallout 3 content train keeps on rollin' all night long with the latest release pack. It'll throw you into Maryland and give you an axe.

Content: Point Lookout (http://marketplace.xbox.com/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802425307d5/?did=0ccf0018-0000-4000-8000-0000425307d5&bt=0&sb=1&mt=4&gu=66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802425307d5)
Price: 800 Microsoft Points
Availability: Not available in Japan
Dash Text: [ESRB: M (Mature) BLOOD AND GORE,INTENSE VIOLENCE,SEXUAL THEMES,STRONG LANGUAGE,USE OF DRUGS] Buy a ticket and hop onboard the Duchess Gambit, as Tobar the Ferryman takes you to the strange seaside town of Point Lookout. What secrets does the dilapidated boardwalk hold? Who lives in the sprawling mansion? Why is the Punga Fruit so important? And what horrors lie in the depths of the murky swamp? Point Lookout is the most open-ended DLC yet, and allows you to explore an entirely new and expansive gameplay area any way you’d like. A completely new questline allows you uncover the town’s hidden secrets, and wield powerful new weapons like the Double-Barrel Shotgun against the swamp’s dangerous, and deformed, denizens. So venture to Point Lookout, if you dare. Just pray it’s not a one-way trip.

Maybe they've finally fixed their deployment issues and it's safe? Time will tell.

Do want! I'm playing Fallout through for a second time and at like 50 hours in I've still yet to hit all the DLC. This is the game that never ends for sure and it's not even online!

Until they give me some steamy way to pay by credit card, I'm not buying DLC. I really want it too.

Bethesda has figured out a really good way to keep taking my money.

Like this (http://www.amazon.com/Fallout-3-Point-Lookout-Xbox-360/dp/B002CSUMPQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1245774096&sr=1-6)?

I mean, it'd be nice if this (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Live/b?ie=UTF8&node=979417011) had more Marketplace content (and DLC in particular), but I'm sure that's not too far down the line.

I was implying "steam" since I have it on the PC. Guess I was being too clever (or not clever enough).

I bought it this morning, I just need to wait to get home to play it.

XBL suckered me into buying Anchorage 'cause it was discounted to 560 points. I'll probably do the others if that discount rolls through Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout.

Does this release come with any new bugs, er, patches? After getting Broken Steel and patching to 1.5, the game now freezes every time it exits, and I get the occasional random slowdown which never happened before. Hooray for Quality Assurance.

I'll wait for the GOTY edition coming out in October that has everything on one disc.

I also have the game exiting bug - and all this time I thought it was just my computer!

Any word on how much this will cost? I'd hate to spend more on the DLC collection in the GOTY package than each separately.

Well DLC is around 10$ each and we are on our 4th. You can count on the GOTY screwing us loyal supporters who paid up front and tested the bugs for them.

Past experience suggests that the GOTY version of Fallout 3 will carry the same price that Fallout 3 did when it was released. That's how it was with GOTY Oblivion, which also bundled the core game with DLC.

Looks like there is a v1.6 patch, but only adds achievements for Point Lookout. No bug fixes mentioned.

Maybe I'll wait for 1.61...

Fallout 3 = hours of gaming and hours of disappointment with little surprises

I'm still waiting for the patch that adds more monsters/enemies/bosses/unique weapons & armor/better missions/more random encounters/etc. to the wasteland......pretty much a patch that adds FUN.

Well said. There's few games out there that immerse thusly: As if you've taken a part-time job, slogging through a post nuclear wasteland.

Sounds like you want it to become Diablo. I rather prefer it the way it is. 200 years after a nuclear war isn't going to be a treasure trove of goodies all over the blasted landscape. Hell, I think there's too much stuff to find, not too little. Like nobody in 200 years has bothered to loot anything that's behind a lock / closed door.

There are several mods that do this. Only problem is that with all the new DLC coming out it takes awhile for modders to update their mods if there is a conflict with new material.

Well said! I don't know why everyone keeps giving these Wastelanders a bad rap, as they seem fairly mellow to the garbage running around our present cities.

If I was good at photoshop I'd get that picture of the new orleans looter and replace the basket full of heinekins with rad aways.

If i wanted to play something like Diablo, I'd play Diablo 2 on b.net.

As for Fallout 3, walking from one city to another and encountering only a rabid dog or scorpion? Or travelling to the edges of the wasteland and finding nothing but a bunch of empty cans and a few pieces of scrap metal? NOW THAT IS LAME.

This whole game is like this, what a major disappointment.
