Busy week with DC launching a new Batman book alongside some popular ongoing series'. I've gone with a Thor one-shot for my Marvel pick but you've got loads to choose from with them. Image has a decent week too.

Batman: Streets of Gotham #1 - Full Color Preview! (http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=28588)

Batman and Robin was great, Batman is back to awesome and Red Robin is...slightly weird. Dick as Batman is working well and this new series by Paul Dini promises a lot. Between Batwoman getting ready to appear in Detective Comics and all of the other Bat-series getting a real kick-start off the back of R.I.P this holds a lot of promise not just because of its acclaimed writer. Lets see how Gotham City Sirens works out too.

The Outsiders #19

Tomasi's other book is as good as Green Lantern Corps. With Batman's rebirth well underway it will be extremely interesting to see where The Outsiders fit into the new scheme of things. Alfred has made it clear that they are acting out Bruce Wayne's final wishes but the mysterious rock shards may well enhance Deathstroke's powers. Cults and killers, it is a dangerous combination!

Thor: The Trial of Thor #1

There have been some decent one-shots this month and this looks like another one. Thor is put on trial for the supposed slaying of several innocent Asgardians. Balder the Brave says he witnessed the entire thing. Could this be the work of Loki? He seems like the obvious culprit. A really wonderful cover on this one.

Invincible #63

Invincible has pulled itself together nice and quick following the rather ambitious Image Universe encompassing mega-event in a single issue. The issues following have actually got things back on track and the battle with Conquest has been fantastic. The reveal at the end of the last issue brings back some significant involvement from Cecil Steadman and I think the book really needs him as a central character. This should be great.

Also of note this week...
DC has a good week with Superman/Batman having some particularly awesome art. Brave and the Bold is a Magog/Booster Gold cross-over by the team of the latter's regular series and it's working out not bad. You've also got Green Arrow/Black Canary, Supergirl, Vigilante and Power Girl among others. Marvel has the usual lot with Cable, Wolverine, Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men and X-Men Origins: Gambit among a slew of other titles. Lots to pick from there. Image also has Amber Atoms, Madman and a new Bomb Girl book.
