The book geek in me is thrilled that author Steven Hall is talking about (http://rawsharktexts.com/yaf_postsm966_Raw-Shark-Texts-concept-art-by-Jesse-Walker.aspx) a new full-color edition of his popular literary novel, The Raw Shark Texts. You can find additional mock-ups at the artists homepage (http://jessewalkr.com/index.php?/work/raw-shark-texts/).
If only we can get a copy of the book including all the negative chapters.

I'll do that! It is a good year for me, I will have at least three new short stories in print this year (Three sold, one I'm waiting to hear back.).
I had a bunch of rejections and I ran a few of those stories through a writers workshop and I can totally see why they were rejected now. Amazing how sometimes you can read something a dozen times and not see the flaws.
I'm still working on two novels, one of which should be finished before the end of the year, but then I'm sure it will need another year of editing before it is 'ready' for the whole rejection process.

Ive never even heard of this book.
Is it something I should look into? How esoteric is the writing?

It is a love it or hate it book. It is an oddball literary novel like something from Chuck Palahniuk or House of Leaves.
It starts out really interesting, slows a little in the middle and builds to an amazing conclusion. I enjoyed the heck out of it. Enough to look forward to the sequel and/or buy a new version of the book. Not enough to spend a bunch of time figuring out the puzzles looking for the global positioning coordinates for the missing chapters.
If you read it, let me know. I found some pictures of a real life Orpheus that are too damn cool.

Always at least one more. At home I keep a TBR mountain instead of a TBR Pile.
I'm waiting to get a new serial killer book that should be great.

Heartsick (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0312947151?ie=UTF8&tag=evilavatarcom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0312947151) by Chelsea Cain.
I ordered the sequel, Sweetheart, in hardcover and there were 3rd party venders that had the hardcover of Heartsick as a remainder for like $7.00 so I'm stuck waiting for Heartsick to show up before I can read both.
I had heard of Heartsick and it was on my radar, but then I went to Chuck Palahniuk's website and it was on his recommended book list (along with my personal BEST.NOVEL.EVER., Geek Love (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0375713344?ie=UTF8&tag=evilavatarcom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0375713344) by Katherine Dunn) and once I saw it on Chuck's site I had to order it.

I thought all you book geeks would like to know that I just spent over an hour with Wikipedia trying to figure out all these different books and if I'd be interested in them. Somehow, I ended up reading about 2666 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2666_(novel)) as well... the interwebs are a crazy place!

Yes, thank you for the nice set up. I needed another excuse to talk about Infinite Summer right before the official launch day.
I wrote a zombie short story titled Agent Red that was published in the anthology, The Undead: Skin & Bones. I'm still working on expanding Agent Red into a novel and I have a few other projects in the works.
I recently joined a writers workshop and they brutally savaged several of my short stories and the intro for my novel. It wasn't pretty. It was like watching Michael Moore attack a pudding. I'm learning a ton.
