Teamxbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has posted the scoop (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/10044/Ubisoft-Announces-Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Six-Critical-Hour/) of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Critical Hour being released for the PS2 and Xbox in March 2006.

This latest chapter marks the return to the franchise’s roots by reintroducing the deeply strategic and tactical gameplay synonymous with the Rainbow Six name, while incorporating classic in-game elements such as vintage maps and weapons, all rebuilt using today’s technology. With an SRP of $29.99, Rainbow Six Critical Hour will bring an exciting new seven-mission single-player campaign and 18 multiplayer levels to gamers who want more gameplay from one of the most popular franchises on Xbox Live online gaming service and ubi.com.

While I'm sure this will be a decent game, I can't see anyone with an Xbox 360 picking this over Ghost Recon 3. I've yet to finish the last mission pack! :(

Let's hope this "returns to it's roots" by deciding to actually put AI back in.

after the awful lockdown (i tried to like it, tried so hard!) im really not that excited about this.

as much as i loved the first two rainbow games, i really hope the montreal team is working on this and not red storm.

Let's hope it's as crap as the Rainbow Six games for PS1.
