This morning we've got eight new screenshots from Assassin's Creed 2 and from the looks of it, the Italian Renaissance is shaping up to be rather great.

Despite it's shortcomings, I enjoyed the first in a big way and will own this on launch day.

Yeah same here. The first one was repetetive for sure but I enjoyed it.

I visited Italy recently, and specifically St. Mark's Square in Venice...and that sure looks like it. Beautiful!

I really liked the first game.

But why does he need two wrist daggers? And why does he still have all his fingers? I must know these questions. Guess I'll have to buy the game to find out.

Yeah same. Its funny because allot of people say this. It was just a cool game to play. It was so realistic, and it sucked you in. If they can keep it fresh the whole way through on the second one then it will be GOTY material.

I liked the first one and will likely get this, but I just wish they'd make it so you could kill the targets in more stealthy ways. How about push a rock on his head? Or rig it so his grill explodes when turned on???

I'm waiting for Hitman also.:)


Much credit goes to Ubisoft for creating two interesting time periods for this series. The game looks great.

This looks amazing, hopefully it wont be as repetitive. The two wrist blades look nice too. I can't wait to get this game
