Worthplaying (http://www.worthplaying.com/) has the scoop (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=31027&mode=thread&order=0) that new free downloadable content for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike is now available via Xbox Live!

This round of free content consists of a brand new map, 2 classic maps from GR2, 3 all-new game types, 7 new weapons and one new kit restriction.
Nice!

Im tired of these shitty dumbed down console Ghost Recons. When is the tactical PC version being released?

It looks like a nice amount of content though for a free addon. Wish EA would take more notice of these kind of things.

Actually...gr2 ss is pretty fun, nicely done on a console. Can't say the same for rainbowsix lockdown though.

If you forget that Lockdown is a rainbow six game its actually pretty fun, I enjoyed P.E.C. mode quite a bit.

Well, actually, they canceled GR2 for the PC. I think it had a lot to do with it being aimed more for the "general" market i.e. to make a lot more money. From what I've heard of GR2, it sounds like it's a good idea they skipped a PC release. Hell, I think even PC Gamer bashed the snot out of it!
Think SWAT4 vs. SWAT3. Same thing, I guess.

On a side note: (PC) Sum of All Fears can be fun at a LAN party--even with relatively old machines. More of a SWAT/R6 feel, but fun nonetheless.
