After seeing all the games coming soon, sometimes you need to take a step back and look at the games that are coming out now. This doesn't qualify as FDP for me. It will be a rental. inFamous on the other hand intrigued me and I am having a blast with it. It may actually be the gore level in Prototype that is turning me off.

I loved infamous, the game was far better than I had anticipated. The story was well written and the game was just fun. It was not perfect (has some bugs, and a little repetitive) but pros far outweigh the bad (if you can't read between the lines, BUY IT! It is that good!). Prototype has potential, but it looks like its just a FPS game with a story added. Not the other way around. I am afraid the blowing things up will get old real soon if there is no depth or good story too it. I am hoping I am wrong, will wait and see with the reviews say.

With no job this summer i'm living of savings. Our of Infamous and Prototype, I chose the latter and reserved it today. Better not be a mistake.

Looks pretty good. But after playing through inFamous, I dont know if I need to play another similar title so soon.

I keep hoping for a demo to hit around release but I'd settle for a few good reviews like Earth Djinn said.

My eldest's birthday is June 7th, and he's interested in this one. I'm going to try to get him to hold out on a few reviews first, as like others this one isn't blowing my skirt up from the outset like inFAMOUS did (and continues to do!).
