Ill respond since you two were saddened that no one posted in response to the previous shotgun. I just finished the first E3 edition of shotgun. My thoughts.

Splinter cell looks great, and I am sure someone will buy it. I gave up on the series after the second one so meh.

Alan Wake I thought was a lot more interesting then I thought it would be since so far it was riding the vaporware train for so long. I like the flashlight burning the enemies mechanic. that was cool.

Left 4 Dead 2 already seems a bit soon. I personally own it on the PC but have played through it on the 360 and really dont see the need for Valve games on the 360. But the fact that they dont release on all the consoles is pretty idiotic of Valve. Im sorry you guys suck at programming. Also does it really take years, the key thing being multiple, to release a four hour episode to Half Life?

The Natel was meh. I dont know. An updated eyetoy does not excite me, and just as before, people look like idiots doing it. I dont play my Wii because I dont like moving around. A controller and a couch is heaven.

Finally, I guess the whole Facebook and Twitter announcement is lost on me. I have a facebook account but I dont use it to read what people are doing all the time. I find it depressing to see that people think others care enough about their lives to want ongoing status updates. So now we are throwing something else into the NXE that should help to slow it down. Great.

Twitter is just sad so I dont think it adds anything.

I do endorse the Netflix updates though. Nice to be able to add movies from the 360. Good on them for that one.

Facebook/Twitter - I can get those on my PS3/Wii already. It's still not a full web browser.

See, here I am enjoying the e3 announcements like a dope. Everytime I feel like just another CoG in the machine, Ev Av keeps me nice and bitter.

The announcements were good but they didn't make the most of the best stuff.

I'm over the moon about Crackdown 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. I'm not an online social networking fan so these things seem pretty lame and Natel has the blemished record of EyeToy, Wii and even the 360 Vision camera to compete with.

I'm also hyped about streaming movies in the UK.

We all do our best. Ha ha

I thought the MS press conference was pretty good considering I had low expectations. I was just responding to some of the points in the podcast.
