Just got word that a demo for Project Gotham Racing 3 from Bizarre Creations (http://www.bizarreonline.net/) is available to download via XBox Live Marketplace.

buy it, not worth the time to download. you are just wasting time that you could use driving to the store to buy it.

*raises hand* I bought the 360 w/o PGR3... honestly! I have a good reason. I am definately downloading this demo today though.

I got the fight night demo. It looks good. I was hyped about the game before I played the demo. Now, not so much. I'll wait for a review of the released game before making a final decision but as it stands right now there are some issues with the game that just get under my skin (commentary and replays for example).

Yeah, it looks great. Until you start moving anyway- the animation is terrible and brings the whole thing down. It's like playing w/ robots that happen to look very human like.

Have had a lot of fun playing it anyway. Just wish they'd smooth out that animation or turn it into a robot boxing game, heh. Also fix that commentary, which couldn't be much more off the mark.

I am in love with this game. Thank you Bizarre for the in-car view!

I just suck at PGR3. I think part of it is that I've never really studied how to drive and I'm screwing myself up in the corners. Anyone have any good tips on how to properly brake, find racing lines, etc? I've got my silver medal achievement and the first few platinum trophies, so it's not like I can't control the car. I just don't know what I'm supposed to do with it to get the fastest time through some of the corners.

Speaking of PGR3...a friend of mine paid for the full version of GeoWars before picking up PGR3 but then discovered that the game was in his garage. My question is - did he waste his money because the same game shipped with PGR3? Is that version hooked into Arcade like the full version with leaderboard support and achievements? Just curious if anyone in this thread might know. Thanks.

nah. The version in the garage is just the demo until you unlock it. Then it's the full version.

The version in the PGR3 arcade is just the trial version. You still have to pay for the full version to unlock achievements and leaderboards.

Guess that is why you don't open a thread and reply to it 30 minutes later.
