If the game has a good (or better) setlist will let me export the tracks from the disc so I can play them in RB2, I can see picking this up. I guess those are the two things I require of them for my money =/

I mean really it is just Rock Band... How much do you SERIOUSLY look at the background as the notes fly by. It's no different than other computer generated character playing a guitar. Not that anyone on here is incredibly negative but I've seen other places people griping about how horrible legos look. Take pop music add cutesy legos, sell millions to young parents.

Agreed.

I am more than willing to continue buying Rock Band releases since they BUILD ON EACH OTHER. The modular approach makes the most sense to me.

To be crazy general i would say they have a UI level and a Music level. This is why you can have RB1 or RB2 and play any of the songs. If LEGO RB is just a new UI level and contains Music that can be imported and merged with my other content...it is basically just a track pack with some new visuals.
