In case any of you were looking to get your mitts on some boxing action, you can now head over to Xbox Live Marketplace (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/0ddf0001-0000-4000-8000-000045418895?cid=SLink) and download the demo to Fight Night Round 4, which is a follow up to Fight Night Round 3, a popular game based on some sort of gloved fisticuffs action. Gold only for now.

I am gonna give it a whirl tonight, but I just recently played FN3 so I may be a bit burnt out on boxing at the mo.

Any Verdicts?

I've played around with the demo for a while - quite sad to see the TPC loose haymaker windups in favour of a button modifier. I really liked it the way it was, but i'm sure i'll get used to it :) This list on the EA Forum (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/232753.page) satifies most of my other concerns so i'll be picking this up. I didn't realise so many people ignored the TPC in favour of buttons, that's for sure..

Why in hell would EA put Mike Tyson along with the greatest boxing legend of all times, on the game cover? Tyson was a good and more importantly promising boxer for a short period in his early years, but he has always been nothing but the biggest dumb ass foul mouthed bully to ever grace the USA...and he's a rapist too!

But this is fitting for EA to f*ck up as such.

I hope the control allow for button presses in the final game. I did not like the new control scheme.

Like him or not, everyone knows who Tyson is. Much like Hulk Hogan is synonymous with professional wrestling, Mike Tyson is(for better or worse) synonymous with boxing.

True, but EA is supporting and promoting this douche...as well as rape.

Then again, if you want synonymous, George W. Bush is synonymous with USA...like Hitler and Germany.

Felt pretty shoddy and the characters look like jelly men. Looks like a real budget job compared to the likes of UFC 2009.

I am incredibly surprised to see myself saying this but DO NOT WANT.
