In case you still don't have Unreal Tournament 3, Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/news/2537/) is offering another free weekend starting this Thursday the 28th.

Epic Games, Inc. is giving players more reasons than ever to jump online and check out Unreal Tournament 3 Black. This Thursday, May 28, will commence a long weekend in which anyone can log onto Valve's Steam digital distribution service, download Unreal Tournament 3 Black and play the game through the weekend free of charge. Pre-load for the follow-up Free Weekend begins today.

During the previous Free Weekend of Unreal Tournament 3 Black on Steam, the game claimed the number one spot on the bestseller list, and simultaneous player numbers jumped by more than 2000%.

Unreal Tournament 3 together with the free Titan Pack constitutes Unreal Tournament 3 Black. The Titan Pack is a massive bonus pack with loads of enhancements and new content including environments, the Titan mutator, the Greed and Betrayal gametypes, the Stealthbender vehicle, weapons, deployables, characters and more. Unreal Tournament 3 Black also includes over 50 Steamworks Achievements.

Bloody hell Modeps, slow down with the news post! I got into the forums for 5 minutes and 3 new things pop up on the front page.

While I think UT3 is the weakest entry into the series, there are a few worth while mods out and inbound that manage to keep this game on my hard-drive. Angels Fall First: Planetstorm and Xyx's vehicles have potential to be very good.

The best can pretty much be found here:

When the Titian Pack was released I spent the first few days playing Greed. If you've never played UT3 give Greed a try. You can have some epic battles and there's always a good chance for a big come back victory.

Yes, this game is a lot of fun and if there any of you out there who have not played, you must!

I adore this game on PS3 and I haven't even played the new modes yet.

I saw a PC version of this game new on clearance over the weekend for $5. Five bucks! I should've bought it just to see what the tools are like these days.

UT3 is a good game now with the free Titan Pack but the online community has died since the last free weekend, after dying post-release, and I predict will die again two or three weeks from this one. I recommend not buying it because of this. Try as they may, UT3 just hasn't found an online base sufficient enough to support long-term play and the single player isn't good enough to justify the cash.

I tried this the last weekend and it just wasnt that fun to me. Maybe the years of twitch shooters has passed for me, but I didnt really enjoy it. It looks like they are still trying to drum up interest though. Good luck to them. The package itself is a sweet deal.
