Gameplayer (http://gameplayer.com.au/gp_documents/SquareatE3.aspx) are reporting that there will be three new Square Enix games announced in the lead-up to E3, all of which have to date been kept under wraps.
We don’t want to push our luck on this one, but there is no Square Enix press conference this year so you can expect an announcement prior to the E3 show regarding no less than three big surprise games which are currently unannounced – at least two of which are multi-format.

Please, for the love of god, a true blue Tactics sequel.

i smell a DS exclusive, a Wii/DS exclusive, and a PSP/DS exclusive = yawn.
hopefully though i'll be surprised and they'll throw a bone to one of the 'other' consoles.

For the love of dog, new Einhander, please. I'm begging you Square.

I would blow my load for an Einhander sequel. And a Vagrant Story sequel. And a new Chrono Trigger game...
Excuse me, I have to go sacrifice a peice of livestock to some pagan god now.

I would've guessed the two multiformat handheld Kingdom Hearts prequels, but if they're unannounced I'm totally clueless.

A new Chrono Trigger/Cross game for the PSP (though not a direct sequel of any), Parasite Eve 3 for PS3/360 (sidestory game is already being made for PSP) and Secret of Mana remake for the PSP. That is my wishlist, at least.

Oh, or what if they announced they'd bought both Lufia games and are remaking for handhelds. That would be iiiiiiiiiiiiincredible!

I call it as being a Front Mission title, a new Dragon Quest related item, and a wii related item.
please be a new Chrono Trigger so I can finally retire from gaming.
wow, i don't even see this news on NeoGAF or any other sites yet. either EA finally got the news out first (good job), or this is a load of bullshit (very bad).
i advise checking sources to be safe.

it's going to be two shitty 'last remnant'-esque games that have nothing to do with final fantasy or their other franchises but will keep people occupied to the point where they realize that they just made the game a collection of random materials to make super items and a boring level up system with quests based on boring random chance.

wrong, please read the news before commenting. press kits have already arrived and stated to be "two of the biggest" franchises.

I agree with this cynical response. Square likes to hype real titles years before they are out unless they are handheld knockoffs or repackaging of old titles.

i laff'd.
I'm going to guess 2 of those will be portable or Wii titles, and the last will be something for the 360/PS3.

DS Dragon Quest and another handheld kingdom hearts would be my guess. Or a Wii game that controls badly.
I would like a Front Mission and a true FF tactics Sequel for the 360/PS3.

What, you have something against stories about 12 year old kids learning the value of friendship and self-confidence in a make-believe fantasy land inhabited by bunny girls? ;)
If even ONE of the multiplatform ones does NOT have Mickey-frikkin Mouse in it, I'll be happy.

Two of the Three games have been revealed (http://kotaku.com/5272845/square-enix-announces-nier-front-mission-evolved-for-e3) and they are BOTH for next-gen systems instead of handhelds or the Wii.
1. Nier (http://kotaku.com/photogallery/squareenixe3/1008486635?viewSize=thumb800x800) - An action/adventure game only being published by Squenix (360, PS3). . . read the link for the developer name. I forgot it as I'd never heard of them.
2. Front Mission Evolved (http://kotaku.com/photogallery/squareenixe3/1008486645?viewSize=thumb800x800) (360, PC, PS3) - Sweet!!! No details yet, but do we really need them? It's a next-gen Front Mission.
