Gabe just updated Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/2009/05/14/splendid-magic-penny-arcade/) with information that they're hard at work on a new Penny Arcade hardcover book titled The Splendid Magic of Penny Arcade.

So we have a great big hardcover anniversary book coming out early next year. It's called the Splendid Magic of Penny Arcade and I think it's going to be really cool. It's got our favorite comics from all ten years, all our major story lines, including all the CTS strips. It's got a big section about how we make the comic and articles on Child's Play, PAX and the history of PA. It's also got a section of Penny Arcade artwork from some of my absolute favorite artists like Stephen Silver and Scott Kurtz. It's going to be a really great book and I actually just finished up the cover for it yesterday. [see above]

Sounds like a very healthy book for fans of the duo.

So what the hell happened to the volumes? I bought all 5 of them, but it seems like they stopped pumping them out.

I only have the first two books and I really need to catch up.

This also seems like it could be really good, but I would like more info on exactly what it contains.

I have all the soft cover books and I love them. They've gotten some serious mileage around here.

i've got their first hardcover book autographed...it's pretty rare, I'm hoping some day some uber-PA nerd will pay me loads for it :)

(it's the book they got into legal issues w/...from ages ago)

Anyway, how about that third On the rain slick precipice of darkness episode, guys? I'm ready.

*waits for the complaints of "this isn't gaming news!!!11"*

Oh wait, we all have a universal hard-on for PA. Mmmmm....intellectual cartoon vulgarity.
