Weekend Gamer: What are you playing?

The weekend could not come soon enough - after the mental taxing of work, it is time to kick some pixils in City of Heroes, and maybe go into the oldie pile with Star Trek: Orion Pirates. What will you be playing this weekend?

TF2, and maybe a bit of Left 4 Dead. I've played a bit of L4D, but it hasn't yet grabbed me the way TF2 did.

I'll slog through the rest of the mind-numbing repetition that is 'Wheelman' before desperately trying to find something else to play.

Well, thankfully, I know longer have to play the apartment hunting game. I got a call from my preferred choice last night telling me I was approved, so I am good to go and relaxed from that. I am, though, going to loose a chunk of Saturday due to it being my mother's birthday.

My current plan for gaming, though, is to fire up my PS2. I've been having an itch to play Steambot Chronicles again (one of the best niche games I've ever played) and I'm thinking its time to finally start a New Game + in Persona 4.

On PS3 I plan on playing some more Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword and Killzone 2. On the PC I hope to get in some time with LotR Online.

Taking down the mob in Florida on Godfather II. Always playing L4D. I'm going to try and get some time in Star Ocean hopefully as well. Also going to see Crank 2 and State of Play, as well as some outdoor time too.

Playing L4D tonight, trying to finished Aquaria over the weekend (I'm about 11 hours in), and maybe some Ghost Master.

I'll be finishing the weekend with Ulduar-10 in WoW. :P

Still got to play my PS2 games I got when I bought a PS2 last year. Only played shadow of the colossus on it.

Mirror's Edge, chapter wherever I left off last time - was too frustrated at one point and didn't want to fire a weapon. I've given up on that achievement and plan on shooting some blues in the face.

I rented a copy of Wanted on the 360, so will probably run through that as I hear it is short. Then mix in a bit of GH Metallica or Professor Layton if time permits. Not travelling for the win.

I'm planning on playing Far Cry 2 and World in Conflict: Soviet Assault.

Still playing RE5 and Killzone 2. (I just don't get enough game time) I am almost finished with RE5 though. Basically just need to finish Professional mode.

Will probably try to finish Kirby on the DS so I can goozex it. (not as good as the previous Kirby) And might play some Locoroco 2 as well.

I think I'll have a bit Might and Magic: dark messiah, and some CS 1.6. May just reinstall BF2 and download reality mod. I did plan to play CoD4 but lost my cd case, my account got reset for some reason, and ofc. it wants me Reg. key which I lost with my case:(

Awesome game. I still play SFC II, once in a while.

I'm hopelessly hooked on Mount & Blade. I haven't played anything else for weeks.

I might try to get a bit of gaming in today....otherwise I'm flying to Jersey tomorrow. Gamefly irritated me because it took them five days to ship my next game, so I won't have any time on it until next weekend.

It's just the same clusterfuck over and over that makes any sort of strategy or skill redundant. Luck and perseverance are the only things that'll get you through the quagmire of poor design decisions.

If you are going to give me a boost function and the choice between vehicles of differing speeds don't just make my enemies go uniformly fast regardless of what I do. If you are going to repeat the same basic mission over and over then at least make it a good one. GPS function like every other current-gen open-world game? Why bother!?

Oh and the mission where you have to chase the train....eugh. You have to shoot out the links between the carriages but the auto-aim just jumps between the guys shooting at you from them.

Soooo frustrating, just a mess of poor choices. I got through it just - the last mission is a complete pile of shit and it crashed after I muscled through it.

On to Fallout 3 and Sonic Unleashed now, both are way more enjoyable.
