After recent success with their iPod/iPhone version of light-gun classic Time Crisis Konami will be bringing more shooting gallery fun to the platform. From Gamespot. (http://www.gamespot.com)
As with the original Silent Scope, players will be tasked with saving the President of the United States, as well as the rest of the First Family, from a terrorist cell that has established its operations in Chicago. Armed with a sniper rifle, players assume the role of the world's top sniper, picking off terrorists one at a time to accomplish their goals.
Those hoping for a sniper-rifle peripheral to augment their iPhone experience will, sadly, be disappointed. Konami has converted the game's controls to make use of the device's touch screen. Silent Scope on Apple's platforms will include a number of different modes, including Arcade and Training, with Arcade mode offering Story, Shooting Range, and Time Attack options.
