Major Nelson posted an update later yesterday letting everyone know that there are new avatar choices available for all, for free (of course).

So.... companies can't give away gamerpics for free, but MS is allowed to give away avatar clothes for free...

So if a company wants to make some avatar clothes to give away for free... then what?

I'm glad they're providing new upgrades to their "MiiS", but I think they missed the boat regarding creating anything non-human. I mean, before if you had an icon of say, a snake, you should now be able to have an avatar that's a snake.

Oh well, at least they're offering more support in the last few months than Nintendo has during their Mii's entire existence.
