After releasing their 99th game, "Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator" (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/septerra_core_legacy_of_the_creator) earlier today, GOG.com (http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/) has also announced the release of their 100th game, "Teen Agent" (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/teenagent)...for absolutely free!
I already own Septerrra Core on disc, but a working Vista version is tempting...also, what is TeenAgent? And why have I never heard of it before?

Judging by the screens, Teen Agent looks to be a SCUMM engine game. And that is enough to get me interested.

Septerra Core... damn, I forgot that one ages ago. Is it still worth playing? I love older RPG's.

Septerra Core is still worth playing if you can withstand the repetitive battles. Which I can.
I remember--Septerra Core was my poor man's Fallout. :-)

Teen agent is a humourous point and click adventure - well worth checking out, I really enjoyed it back in the day. Wouldn't mind giving septerra core another go too.

Does it take a lot to finish? I don't want to spend too much time on it lol.

I've heard that GoG doesn't really recode all games for Vista, it just uses DOSBox. From the DOXBox site:
A new site has launched: GOG.COM - they sell pc oldies and use DOSBox for their DOS titles. The games are DRM-free and not expensive, which might be convenient in these economic times.
It would be nice to know which games they actually have recoded for Vista/XP, and which ones simply run in DOSBox. It would suck to re-buy a game only to find it's the same as the one you already own just running in DOSBox and being touted as "Vista Compatible!".

PacerDawn, I'd wager that they use DOSBox for...DOS games. They most likely recode the newer-than-dos-yet-older-than-XP games for Vista.
Such as Septerra Core.

Why go through the effort when DosBOX already does it perfectly? Besides, GoG just gives you a nice installer to run and the game is good to go, no messing with directories or config files.
