So... is the Call of Duty moniker completely dropped now to perhaps separate itself from the old and hence remove Treyarch from possibly being associated with it's products?
My oldest son and his friends play cod5 and had no idea it was by a different development house. This seems like a good way to change that, even with the slight possibility of brand disassociation without the CoD name attached. I wonder if this will change in the coming months if the correct amount of buzz is no reached.

There seems to be a bit of confusion around this. Even Major Nelson is calling it CoD: Modern Warfare 2, while the title of the trailer is just Modern Warfare 2. No one's sure. :P

I thought that CoD 3 (Treyarch) was a pale shadow of 2 and 4 (both Infinity Ward), but I am very satisfied with CoD 5 by Treyarch. They've done a very good job. It's a great game. I enjoy it as much as CoD 4, in fact. Equally...and the zombie mode leans me in favor of 5, actually, though the airborne level in 4 was killer...raining down death from above. Man, that was amazing.

Hmmm I keep meaning to go back to that, too bad I only have it for the PS3, so I don't now anyone to co-op with.

MW2 just makes me giddy.. reminds me of the time before mario 4 and final fantasy 7..
I need real gameplay though! damn teaser
cod5 was ok until i realized that i didnt care for most maps, most weapons, and especially the tanks. being in a tank is boring, and being the only guy trying to bust em is frusterating. Level grinding is lengthier, what with them eliminating a ton of point upgrades on the LMGs (25 kills and your done? are you kidding me?? no GRIP??) You can't even get skins for the guns via the headshot challenges (dont even pull the realism card, hello aperture, silencer, and "acog")
Going back to cod4 was a revelation of how good that game is.. i never go "aw man, THIS map?" like i do in 5 (which is easily half the maps). I upgrade practically every weapon because i WANT to. I can actually see in the nicely lit maps, including bog (waw is so dark even with contrast cranked).
One good thing came from WAW though, i now can use the semi auto G3 much better thanks to the entire rifle section in WAW.

Probably because its the exact same game as 4, but with different textures. Not saying this is a bad thing, it just is.

This video doesn't need HD quality. Really.
I want to see more.

Zombies in 5.
Four player co-op in 5.
WW II in 5 (I actually like that).
The rest of the similarities? Don't mess with a good thing... :)
