The slightly controversial Postal franchise will see its third game released at the tail end of this year. The open-world game is a joint project between Akella and Running With Scissors. This new trailer shows off a new third-person focus and cover based shoot-outs.

Fucking awesome, Ive always loved the work from RWS, call me a sucker for shoddy games.

I suppose it would have been more politically correct to kill the women and minorities first.

Meh. I don't know if I like this whole cop killing thing... GTA is one thing, but this is going to be the game they point at now for the trench coat wearing goth kids that shoot up the next school. :( I know this is generalizing, but you can't tell me this isn't going to be the one they'll blame...

This game has been in development for years and it's still "pre-beta"? Looks cool anyhow.

Also, they can point to this game all day long, but the research shows that violent games do not cause violent behavior or angry feelings.

I've heard that this game will only work five days a week soon, what with all the cutbacks and red ink at the post office and all...

Also, they can point to this game all day long, but the research shows that violent games do not cause violent behavior or angry feelings.

However, adult exposure to children's television shows DOES cause angry feelings. I want to kill Barney the purple fu**ing dinosaur. And don't get me started on the Teletubbies...or the map on Dora's show. Damn map...

I'm sad to see they have gone the third person route. I really enjoyed Postal 2 (never played the first) apart from the frequent loading. Also, I really hope they haven't done much work on th AI yet cause the AI looked like shit.
