*Pretty sure this is for vista users only*
Been messing around with this for the last couple of days, and to be honest I'm impressed with the results.
What I'm on about is using voice commands for ingame action, for example
Saying "Map" -> opens/closes the map
"Weapon 1" -> switches to weapon 1
"Insult [person]" -> says ingame, "[person] is a hacking cunt"
it works very nicely and the sky's the limit with what you want recognised.
If you wanna check this out,
head over to Windows Speech Recognition Tutorial (http://www.vista4beginners.com/Windows-Speech-Recognition-Advanced-Configuration-Options) for a quick and dirty rundown on the basics,
then pick up Windows Speech Recognition Macros (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=fad62198-220c-4717-b044-829ae4f7c125&displaylang=en) so you can start making your own commands
and thats it,
Windows Speech Recognition Macros Wiki (http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/wsrmacros/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Windows%20Speech%20Recognition%20M acros%20Wiki&referringTitle=Home) for scripting help
takes a bit to set it up, but I think its worth it once its tweaked.
