Prairie Games (www.prairiegames.com/) has announced its RPG Minions of Mirth (http://www.prairiegames.com/games.html) has been released for Windows and OSX.
"Minions of Mirth gives the player an incredible amount of freedom in their role-playing experience! It can be played in single player, multiplayer, and even allows friends to run their own custom persistent worlds! We're very pleased to be releasing this amazing product. We've worked very hard with our community to make sure Minions of Mirth totally rocks!", says Josh Ritter co-owner and programmer of the title.
I myself have been playing the game for a couple of months, its a very good game and an excellent release for an indie team. Games like this should get the support of the gamming community as a whole. Lets show we believe in creativity!

Nice to see MoM gettin some lovin on EA. I've been planning on getting it for some time now. I just have to get a new computer to replace the one that was stolen first, which is the only thing that has prevented me from getting it so far.

There's a demo available on the site that you can download. I've heard lots of good things from everyone on the GarageGames forums that's been playing it.

Be careful now. MoM is Master of Magic where i'm from. Check the real MoM here (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=687).
Read and become educated. It's about time.

Good point, I always see MoM as Master of Magic. What a wonderful game, even today.

I am really pretty dang impressed by this. I played the beta quite a bit, and it's come a LONG way.
The developer seems to really love updating it with serious functionality, and the asking price is very reasonable. In the most recent updates apparently you can unlock monsters to play as, and people on their forums are already talking about doing that in multiplayer and sieging one of the towns.
That sounds like a damn good time to me.

Hey guys, I get some kind of Memory cannot be read error any time I try to use this game. Anyone have any clue as to why? Their forums weren't the most helpful either...
