I saw by way of openXBOX360 (http://www.openxbox360.com) that XBOXYDE (http://www.xboxyde.com) has posted a new trailer and images from Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.

You can find the images and trailer here (http://www.xboxyde.com/news_2394_en.html).

Minus the outlines around enemies, which can supposedly be toggled off, the game is looking quite good.

Like they say in the link, this clip's been out for a while.

It still doesn't look as good as the E3 trailer to my eyes...almost like that trailer had some extra filtering effects which have since been removed, leaving a boring-looking game underneath. Well, except for all the cool HUD elements, that is.

I was not impressed by those screens even a little, I remember the E3 trailer looking considerably better. I do find, however, that screenshots either make the game look considerably better than it is going to look, or make the game look horrible as compared to how the game looks in motion. So, only time will tell.

I agree that these do not look terribly impressive comapred to what we've seen in the past. Was there not a post some time back that the video shown was not 100% ingame footage? Meaning that they took a cue from the Sony camp and spiced things up to make jaws drop hoping they could make the game look that good in the end? Either way, the game still looks pretty damn good; it is probably going to be this and Oblivion that finally break me and get me to buy a 360.

Yeah, they do look pretty. ..The upward fire-plume seems a bit artificial tho, IMHO a bit of variation in the intensity and position of its elements might help. But overall, yeah, no complaints from me. (except the e3 trailer was better.) ;)

Then you missed the good one.

There was another all in-engine trailer done later on.
