All they need now is a really cool motion blur effect for terrain zooming by and they're set. Wicked graphics.

Bikers look brilliant thanks to top notch lighting, but the environments are nothing special - two dimensional trees and plain textures. The result is that the bikers look out of place in my opinion. I agree that some well done blur effects would go along way to unify the look of the game.

/edit: The one good controlling one was that sega arcade one where you sat on a bike mockup and leaned into the turns.

You know what I'm excited about? Polyphony's (Gran Turismo fame) new racer (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/touristtrophy/news.html?sid=6141032&mode=previews) for the PS2 that's all bikes. This reminded me of that. A realistic motorbike game by the same guys who make Gran Turismo? Sign me up.

In fact, I'm more excited about that than any future or past Gran Turismos.

That looks like some nice shots, hopefully the animaton for the bikers is good as well, otherwise it will look odd.

I'm pretty sure the Moto games on Xbox ran at 60, so I'm guessing this will be the same.

Now that's graphics. Course, racers always look better when they're doing fancy camera replays rather than actual racing. None the less, wow.

I think the tree/background terrain issue will be hardly noticable unless you are one of those fuckers that go off of teh track and stare at the woods for hours. It would be nice to have better trees, but unforutnatly it is just not worth it especially in a racing game. Pics are crazy though, nice to see the next wave of games coming alonging nicely.

I played Tourist Trophy at the Seattle Motorcycle Show and I wasn't impressed. Everything looked good but the bikes felt terrible. It was like riding on ice at times. I didn't understand their traction model at all. In the state I played it MotoGP3 for Xbox was a far better game.
