Looks like Resident Evil 5 is not the only new Capcom game on the 360. They just announced Lost Planet for Microsoft's new machine. Check out the rather impressive trailer at XBoxyde.com (http://www.xboxyde.com/news_2389_en.html).

Well, that first character art pic isn't a million miles removed from Leon/RE4.

But after RE4 I'll support anything Capcom's willing to try these days, the fact this is a new IP just sweetens the deal.

Looked like a mix between Starship Troopers and Mech Assult 2, with some added drama and Leon's jacket from RE4. I'm interested.

Checked the trailer... ugh. I mean, the screens looked nice, and...

Oh, whatever. It's just a really bad trailer. Music didn't fit and all the cutscenes were awkward.

That's cause this game is aparently by Keiji Inafune, creator of Onimusha (and Megaman!). I knew it the minute I saw the characters. With him at the helm I've got high hopes for this one.

Nice. I remember when the first Xbox first came out, and all these Japanese games were being announced for it by Japanese companies like Capcom, Namco, Konami, Sega...

Then....they just stopped.

Weird until you figure in that most of them (not all though) were rubbish and didn't sell so the afroementioned companies just gave up and went back to the PS2.

Actually, the main character is some Korean star who is all the rage here in Japan with the old woman crowd. I knew I noticed the face...
