Called the "Classic Controller Pro", it will offer two more shoulder buttons, more spaced-out thumbsticks, and will look like the bastard offspring of a PS2 controller and Classic Controller.

What ever happened to the kidney-shaped buttons of the Gamecube controller? That one giant A button with raised, angled satellite buttons was one of the best but most under-appreciated innovations in controller design for years. I know it wasn't perfect for fighters, but then what (apart from the Saturn pad) is?

I've always thought the Dual Shock was the perfect video game controller. I have to say this is better than the old classic controller, and since I haven't picked up a classic yet and I've been thinking of downloading some stuff from virtual arcade, this might be the way to go.

I prefer the xbox controller with the staggered joysticks. After playing with that for awhile I just can't see to use the PS controller right.

Unless they increased the tension on the sticks and made the triggers analog with tension for nuanced control (like 360's pad), I don't really see the benefit.

Because the Gamecube controller makes SNES games unplayable, in my opinion. Having y above b is just really awkward to accelerate in Super Mario World, along with the primary button being the spin jump.
