View Full Version : Flock Herded Into April Release
A little tidbit on the forthcoming PSN/XBLA/PC game Flock as we get new info on release dates for all platforms.
If you've been waiting to roundup sheep for your intergalactic probing, the finish line is now in sight. Flock will be coming to the PC on April 7, Xbox Live April 8, and PlayStation Network April 9. Using your spacecraft's beam of light, you'll need to nudge animals around a variety of Flock levels until the creatures are onboard your mothership. Sometimes you'll need to shrink the animals and sometimes you'll need to crush trees.

Leave it to the Scottish to make a game about herding sheep...
To be fair, it would probably sell fewer copies if it were called "Sheep Lover" (outside of Scotland, and New Zealand of course).
You know the odd thing is we are really more into our cows. The Scottish level in SFIV seems weird with sheeps.

What about the haggis and all that?
When I had some while in London it was the most vile thing I had ever tasted.
Yeah, we do have our sheep but the cow is more synonymous.
Haggis is lovely if you get good haggis. You'd struggle to find it actually made with offal these days.
This is all very serious!

Never had haggis, but I hear it's just offal.
Had to be said. :D

Yeah, it's the Welsh that are really, really into their sheep. They're all over the place.

We just use our sheep for wool and meat. The Australians on the other hand have far more sheep than NZ...;)

You know whats really funny? Aussies say that Kiwis are the sheep lovers, while Kiwis say that Aussies are.
The only conclusion I can come to is that that entire continent has carnal relations with sheep.
