This is one of my favorite hack-n-slash titles. It was very well made with a great combat system and awesome graphics. Extremely simplistic and easy to pick up and play, but had this awesome way of keeping you involved and wanting to kill more and more bad guys.

If you were a fan of EverQuest like I was back in those days, this was basically a "Diablo" version of EverQuest, which makes it so much more fun because it has the storyline and characters you know and love.

Definitely worth it still to this day.

I already posted in the review thread, but I'll chime in once more here:

I bought this game around when it came out, because it used the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance engine (one of my favorite games from the xbox era), and because hack and slash = bliss for this gamer.

If I remember correctly, this game also had 4 player coop, which was awesome. The previous baulder's gate games only had 2 player coop, so it was great to be able to bring in another 2 players in this one.

I picked this up immediatly when it came out and proceeded to button mash my way through it with a brother of mine. The experience is definatly enhanced with other people. I loved Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance and Dark Alliance 2.

I fell in love with Dark Alliance on the Xbox and when I found out this game had online play I about shat.

We should get a few guys together and slay some orcs, it works great on my PS3. Anyone up?

I definitely am. I wonder if it requires servers to be up and functional in order to work.

I loved this game, as well as Snowblind. They were hack and slash kings back in the day.

Sadly, Justice League Heroes, which I had soaring hopes for, kind of sucked. I'll always look back on CoN, and Baldur's Gate, as their better moments

I also thought that JLH wasn't as good as it should have been. MUA was a much better alternative, although the item system in that game was pretty stupid.

I let my female cousin borrow it and she loved it. Then we played co-op for two hours one day. I loved it because it was part of the EQ world, but also because I got to play the game in co-op w/ family.

I haven't played this game in years. It is time to dig it back up. More retro game reviews please!

This game has been sitting in my Amazon wish list for a long time. I'm going to include it in my next order.

Thanks for the reminder Virtuoso. :)

Managed to pick up a copy of Return To Arms in amazing shape. Am so happy :) Love both the orignal and the sequel.
