Flash Animation question

Hey,

I'm using a Macbook Pro, the new model, and Adobe Creative Suite CS4.

I can't, at all, get a movie to export from Flash into Quicktime without getting weird artifacts from the animation frames stuck in the image while it proceeds with the rest of the movie.

I'm reading something about how you have to set your publishing setting back to Flash 3 4 or 5, becuase Quicktime won't support modern Flash files, but I can't get that to work.

Does Flash CS4 really just not work on a Mac? that seems like it would be utterly ridiculous.

try modifying the codec settings for the export file
