TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has posted screenshots (http://screenshots.teamxbox.com/gallery/1206/The-Outfit/p1/) and an interview (http://interviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/1400/The-Outfit-Interview/p1/) with designer director Jeff Brown regarding the upcoming Xbox 360 WWII action/strategy title, The Outfit.

The Outfit follows an epic story, so all of the missions revolve around that story. The objectives in those missions span quite a spectrum, everything from rescuing POW’s to capturing an enigma machine to stealing a 400 foot Zeppelin...A major part of The Outfit’s gameplay revolves around online play. Play co-op through the entire single player game, or play one of our team based multiplayer game modes, such as Destruction, Deathmatch, or Objective. Up to eight players can play on Live! in a multiplayer competitive game, or play co-op or head to head in split screen on one box.
Release Date: 03/01/2006 (XBOX360 (http://www.gametab.com/xbox360/outfit.the/4943/))

It looks like it could be fun. And with the the slated release in March of 2006, it should be easier to snag a 360 by then.

I agree, Mercenaries was a sleeper hit in my opinion, glad to see it getting some love along with online play.

I also agree. Mercenaries was a bloody good game. This looks like Mercenaries on steroids. I wasn't expecting all this online goodness. I'm looking forward to this game even more now cos i'll be able to play co-op or deathmatch with the game too.

I've seen this game running a couple of times now (E3, and at a recent Relic open house). It's grown leaps and bounds since E3 (where it was shown on the dev kits with most of its graphical tweaks turned off). Another 3 months on this title and it'll be smashingly good.

Ditto. Mercenaries with multiplayer. It's win win. Could be the game to convince me to buy a 360.
