Recently acquired publisher D3Publisher has announced that it will add substance to the world of Matt Hazard with a new old downloadable game.

Further fleshing out the past of its fictional "80's videogame action hero" Matt Hazard, D3Publisher today revealed that one of the "classic" Matt Hazard titles will be released as a downloadable PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game later this summer.

Hazard will officially debut in Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, a satirical Vicious Cycle-developed action game that hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 3.

Watched the "Behind the Game" trailer for this recently and became quite enthused.

I'm really enjoying the premise behind this game. It's definitely very clever, and for sure I'm looking forward to the game.

I think this game shows alot of promise, but I just noticed the publisher is D3. They are responsible for the Kingdom Under Fire and Bikini Samurai Slayers games, both of which are terrible. I really hope they have a different team working on this one.

They do. It's the team behind Dead Head Fred.

Kingdom Under Fire is pretty fun in coop. But then again I guess you could make a game about shirt shoveling and it would be pretty fun in coop too.

Shirt shoveling is my favorite hobby.
