Looks like GTAIV fans may have something more than just cursing, death and violence. Allegedly, players will get to see a full frontal nude shot of some dude in game. It's the first time we've ever seen a fully realistic 3D penis, complete with pubic bush. And in our review, we describe it as the most alarming scene in the entire Grand Theft Auto saga to date - not because it's as 'extreme' as some of the violence and torture on show in the game, but because it's just so completely unexpected, and bound to cause some sort of outcry in the vein of San Andreas' "Hot Coffee"

No what I meant was to the GTA community this was expected and yeah it will sell well, but most fans that I talk to are mostly excited about this rumored MMO that has been on the fringes for the past few years. It's a given that RS is working on somthing along these lines...folks thought there would have been somthing announced by now.

1Up actually has this video (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3172816), I took one for the team and fast forwarded to the alleged penis. Its the worst looking thing I've ever seen. If you're going to make mainstream video game history, at least make it look real.

It's important to the story insofar as it helps characterize Mr. Stubbs; he has a flagrant disregard for Johnny(the biker) and he has complete control over both Johnny and the situation at hand. Being naked only aids in exemplifying his blatant hubris. I got all of that from a short three-minute clip, mind you.

Did they need to go whole-hog and show us his junk? No...but I, for one, don't really care. I've seen my own penis countless times and I'm more than comfortable enough with my heterosexuality to deal with seeing a 3D model of a penis on a video game character. Grow up a little and deal with it, guys.

As far as any potential backlash is concerned...I don't think it'll be nearly as bad as that Hot Coffee BS. Firstly, it's merely a nude scene and not a sex scene. Futhermore, they're obviously being much more open and forthcoming about it this time around. Most importantly, this is occuring in completely option DLC for an M-rated game. It's a mature scene in a game intended for mature audiences and it's absolutely no worse than anything seen in any given R-rated movie.

Anyone old enough to legally buy GTA4 shouldn't be offended by a couple of polygons. If South Park can show a penis grafted onto the back of a mouse with a TV-MA rating, then GTA4 can have a penis with a MA rating as well. (South Park's penis was far more detailed too, and had much more on screen time.)
