With this Monday coming up, there are plenty of new games coming out that should spark up peoples interests in gaming once more. Games such as Dragon Warrior 5 re-released for the DS or even StreetFighter IV which is something I've been patiently waiting for. We also have Dawn of War II to look forward to with some heavy squad based RTS action. So please tell us of your gaming victories and your defeats this weekend.

Mainly Valkyria Chronicles and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway for me. Also, picked up Left 4 Dead on Steam and dabbled in that a bit.

Replaying GTA4 to get the Liberty City minute achievement. I beat the game at like 40+ hours the first time through but with every GTA game I do EVERYTHING including screwing around blowing up people. I've almost completed the game at 10 hours in, but I haven't gone on any dates or gotten any of the specials. Just doing missions. The game is pretty boring if you just try to beat it straight through like that :p

We had a family Burnout Paradise weekend. :D Unlocked a TON of cars, and just had a good time wrecking havoc around the city. I forgot how good the game was, even offline.

I played some Mercenaries 2 and a little bit of Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword on the DS. Also spent some time wishing I had the money to pick up Street Fighter IV and a fighting stick, but alas the fundage is not there.

Call of Duty 4. Got 1000 achievement points last week. I'm at level 50 now out of 55 in the multiplayer.

Finished Jericho and Shadowgrounds Survivor in my quest to finish all Steam games (http://www.eod.cc/forums/index.php?showtopic=2136). I don't care what people say, I think Jericho was fucking awesome. Sure it had its weird wtf moments, and the ending was TOTAL BULLSHIT, but still... awesome game. Shadowgrounds Survivor was cool too, but not as cool as the first Shadowgrounds game.

Thanks to Valentine's Day and taxes I played nothing. Hoping to do a little old skool Starcraft with some friends later in the week though.

Played F.E.A.R. 2 and beat it. On Saturday I got Mirror's Edge from Gamefly and started to play it. Both games are really good.

I have finish Crackdown, but i have not search for every orb.

The platforming is so well done that i've almost never use cars except for throwing it at the enemies. Fighting baddies is the more boring aspect of the game that you need to do to complete the games. That was not bad just ok.

I played a bunch of FEAR2 and beat it early Sunday evening. That was good. Me and a friend started a game of Diablo 2 for nostalgia reasons and beat the first two acts of that. I also finally picked up the new Prince of Persia game and played a bit of that. I really enjoyed what I played and am looking forward to digging into that some more over the course of this week.

Me and my roommates spent about 9 hours straight last night playing "The House of the Dead: Overkill".

It was fucking awesome. Totally worth the time and money.

The worst part about Skate II is the fact that you can't really decide which trick you're going to do. Try to do an ollie and you will definately do a kickflip. Try to do a kickflip and you will absolutely do an ollie. Even reverse psychology doesn't work, when you try the opposite, the controls work perfectly; this is to ensure that you always do the wrong trick. I choose not to skate.

In valentimes news, I printed out those L4D valentine cards and then bought the game for the gf (Self-serving gift but she really loved it) and hit it in her obligatory box of chocolates. We played vs all weekend and shouted "Tickle Fight!" every time we pounced someone as a hunter.

Took advantage of the 50% off deal on Left 4 Dead over at Steam and played that most of the day Sunday and loved it. Also reloaded BF 1942 back on the hardrive. Forgot how much I missed playing that game over the years.

I played L4D a little bit and finished one and a half scenario with a friend. I also started playing Just Cause again after barely touching it since I bought it nearly three years ago. That game is crazy.

And just now I found out how to play Beneath a Steel Sky and Lucasarts games on my phone. I also found out how to make it crash.

TF2 (I unlocked Natasha!), a bit of L4D (not sure if I'm gonna play it all that much or not), and a bit more Planescape:Torment.

After a hunt for a PS1 memory card, I played the first 5 hours of Final Fantasy IX. Absolutely awesome so far. I love the old-school feel of it. Great fun, and the graphics aren't too bad for a PS1 game.

I also played FarCry 2 and done a few "Blow up this convoy" or "Kill this retard" missions until I've had enough of the same thing over and over again. Are there more varied mission objectives later in the game?

I've also played some CoD W@W and Icewind Dale.

Threw down on L4D, was happy I got it at $25, glad I didn't pay full price. Definitely a fun game, but I'd hesitate to recommend it for $50, don't think it's quite worth that. Had some great ideas in it and I'd love to see a lot more focus on coop in future titles.

Played trhough the DoW II demo one more time trying to find justification to buy it...sadly I didn't, so it's back to L4D, WoW and for some odd ass reason I'm back playing Quake Wars...don't ask me why I can't explain it either.

House of the Dead: Overkill. My friends love it, my girlfriend loves it, and my girlfriend's friends love it. Next up, I'm going to try it out on some wii-hating coworkers.

Nothing I had planned to play got around to being played thanks to Valentine's Day and an unusually busy Sunday which saw no Warhammer from me (which is fine, I'm still disenchanted with the end game).

I did get some local co-op happening with LEGO Indiana Jones. It's fairly fun, but boy are the controls loose.

I dabbled with Burnout, Fallout, COD4, and CivRev.

Three-day weekend:
Played through Prince of Persia, and completely loved it. There were some small bugs and a few frustrating moments, but I had a great time playing it.
Started CoD4. Interesting, but probably not my cup o' meat. I've only played the first four or five missions, though, so I'm hoping it knocks my socks off later.
Rock Band 2.

Mercenaries 2
Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. I bought it as a lark on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised in the amt of fun it contained.
