Ah well, good luck everyone!
If you have any questions regarding the contest send an email to EAGiveaway@gmail.com with a subject of QUESTION.
Or we can post here? My question was that I didn't add my shipping address in the email to EAGiveaway@gmail.com, so does that invalidate my entry? Or do you only need to give that should you win?
Anyway, lets get on with the winning!
Missed that worldwide thing... in that case, ignore my entries to GRAND and BOOMD1 then...

Wow, that GrandPrize looks SOOOO sweet.
It's the PC I want, but have know full well that I need to wait 2 years to purchase since I'm still in school. Also, I'll need to be a professional with money to spare before I could ever afford a custom-made case like that beautiful one.
Wow! Just Wow!
No one else sign up! ;)

And if Canada is eligible, will the province of Quebec be included ?
Heh, technically it shouldn't be, since it's against the Quebec contest laws, to my knowledge. That's why every contest online that's open to U.S. and Canada usually has a comment about Quebec being excluded (at least that I've ever seen).

Ah, it's defined here (http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/0,4621,307794,00.html).
"When running an online or offline contest, sweepstakes or raffle, it's important to be aware of the regulations governing such offerings. Federal regulations on such games are enforced by the FTC, and state regulations on such games are enforced by state attorneys general.
Florida and New York require registration of games if the prize is valued at more than $5,000. Arizona, Rhode Island and Quebec also regulate games. Therefore, if you plan on heavily promoting your event, keep in mind that you need to consult with an attorney to ensure compliance with these regulations, or else risk investigation and/or penalties if any entrants file a complaint against you or the law enforcement agencies become aware of your activities."

Just curious, what software, if any, are you using to help with the draw? Or are you just taking the names, putting them on bits of paper, and putting them into a hat?
I ask because we occasionally run contests, and if you have some kind of software solution, that'd be sweet.

Actually, the Quebec laws and regulations regarding contests can be found here : Linky (http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=3&file=/L_6/L6R3_1_A.htm&PHPSESSID=7e2d90081950ca028ef848945baae44f)
Basically, Quebec would be elligible, but EA would have had to register/notify the Regie and provided the proper documents 10 days before the contest publication. Funny thing is, very few people are actually aware of these laws and regulations, and I have in the past won similar contests on the web where the contest administrator had not registered the contest with the Regie. In the end, unless someone actively complains about it, nobody up here will give a shit, altough I wouldnt take that chance personally.

just a qwik question;
so when i email to enter for all prizes (once per day per prize) -- does that include the Grand Prize as well?
or is the Grand Prize entry supposed to be just one email over all?

One entry per day, so if you remember to enter every day, you have 5 chances of winning.

So does that mean I can put an entry in for all 3 prizes, and the grand prize? Or do I have to pick one prize per day? I thought it was the 2nd thing, one prizer per day, but that statment makes it sound like I can enter all 3 if I wanted too.

Is this, like more "formal" contests (IGN/Gamespy/etc.), something that leaves you susceptible to taxes if you win the prize? Or is this a happy-go-lucky "take my computer and pay nothing" ordeal?
Not that I'd mind paying a bit of tax for the kickass rig. Though, I guess it'd be my mother doing the paying, me being a broke bum and all.. hmm.
The PC is almost exactly the same computer my brother just bought for himself. Processor, MB, Ram, HD size, everything. Only difference I think is his is a 6800, not a 6600.
Oh well, I'm using a 1Ghz Celeron with a Geforce 2. Here's hoping!
I entered the PSP game contest, and since I have no PSP if I win the game will go to Child's Play.

Heh, no comment (since it's non-PC to talk against Quebec in this province).
Actually, I've been to Montreal twice, it's a awesome city. The people are really friendly. As for the rest of the province, never been there, can't comment.

i've been in ontario once, went for the lord of the ring museum exhibition.
cool town, but one night we ran into some weird drinking club, guys were dressed as women and ran in the street until they find a bar, drink one beer than come running out until they find another bar.... you get the drift.
and we had to wait in line OUTSIDE to see harry potter. not cool at all, old theater too, it was an old theater place and the chairs were unconfortable. but aside from that i had a great trip =)

You'd better believe it. It got me to join after months of lurking.
maybe I'm blind but can someone point me out to the Day 2 and Day 3 threads? I know Day 1 is below, and I can swear I saw a Day 2 thread at some point. But Day 2 has dissappeared and I've yet to stumble apon the Day 3. Search came up with nadda.

Very weird...Day 1 seems to have dissapeared.
I found it...for some reason I moved it into the In House forum....here it is (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7698).
Sounds like a good idea though, I think I'll move the rest then.
