Treyarch has announced (http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=102609) a Nazi Zombie level will be included in the first Call of Duty: World at War DLC map pack.

Dear Alarmed Residents of Texas, Indiana and Illinois:

We hope that rumors of a new zombie level being included in the first Call of Duty: World at War DLC map pack wasn’t what sent you into a recent frenzy (http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/Road_signs_warn_of_zombies). Nazi Zombies scare us too, which is why we’d like to give you a heads-up to stay tuned for official word regarding upcoming DLC. Yes, there will be a new wave of undead coming soon and – while we appreciate everyone’s concern (and we don’t condone vandalism) – we assure you that these zombies will only be found in the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack. Stay tuned for more details!

This is some cool stuff. Some new levels would be nice in general, and adding another zombie level is a great idea.

Any idea on a rough release date?

Awesome news! I hope the mappack is cheap. I don't much care for any other modes except Nazi zombies..

Just my opinion.

I find it strange that Nazi Zombies is so much more fun than "normal" modes in CoD:WaW. I also find it strange that Horde is so much more fun than "normal" modes in GoW2.

Co-op gaming for the win I guess?

It is indeed just your opinion. Adversarial CoD:WaW is a blast. Even better than 4 as far as my friends and I are concerned.

I'm honestly glad to hear that, I was hoping it was just me.

While I enjoy the zombie mode, my friends and I find much frustration in the "luck of the draw" style of getting weapons. Sometime everyone gets an mg and the ray gun, sometimes it pops up with a stupid carbine 5 times in a row. Adversarial is awesome though. The more we all play it the better it gets.

I've found the multiplayer of CoD5 much less interesting than CoD4. Partly, it is the setting, but the other thing is that it just isn't as tight or as fun. The level design isn't as good, and the unlocking has not changed. I'm not sure why anyone would want to play a downgraded version of the same game, where the only major changes are dogs instead of a helicopter, but to each his own, I suppose.

The zombie mode, on the other hand, is inspired and awesome. If they would expand upon it, add even more areas to each level for the players to unlock, multiple random weapon boxes, more weapons to buy, etc, it would be near perfect.
