Rumble Roses XX for the Xbox 360 will feature a full lineup of incredible looking wrestlers along with all-new moves, gameplay modes, tag team action and online play.
Rumble Roses XX features more than 20 playable characters, including all the popular ladies from the original Rumble Roses such as Reiko and Dixie. Additionally, just like in the original, each character's "alternate" persona will be included, allowing for players to play the hero, or the heel. Modeled in revealing outfits, the look of the wrestlers in Rumble Roses XX will defy the imagination as the polygon count for each of these models has increased substantially from the original. Each wrestler will also have a variety of costume changes, new moves, different crowd reactions and attitudes depending on their persona.

Some of the pics show quite awful texturing and the lighting effects muddle the pic a bit. Sure hope the graphics are tweaked for the release. And the real thing in motion must look quite a lot better.
Maybe I should get this when it's released. (When is that, btw? I'm too lazy to check)
I remember that the first one was fun to play and watch, although I didn't have too much time to test it. Rumble Roses was easy to pick up having some of each - button-mashing, timing and reading your opponent. But maybe it was just that the game subjects muddled my perception of a good fighting game. :-)

Looks nearly the same as the original, l0flzzzzzzzzzzz
Isn't the XBox360 stuff supposed to look better than this? ..I thought anti-aliasing was on on everything? Are we not seeing antialiased screenshots because of limitations in capture technology, or is this stuff really not anti-aliased yet? (like, it's turned on near the end of development.)
...Couldn't find any release date for this one. Seems the company hasn't decided on that yet.

It's been slated for "The hot season" (their words, not mine) and have stated that the final version will look much better than any of the previews in video or print.

Stop making wrestling games with arbitrary victory conditions!
The first one had cheesy storylines, plenty of unlockables, and a more interesting subject matter than two half naked men rolling around on a mat. And it played well, but only in comparison to other wrestling games.
At the core was still the extremely annoying crowd meter mechanic which is basically cart blanc for the computer to either win or lose whenever it wants without telling you why. You can beat on it and use specials for half an hour and never pin it, but even though it has no meter it can turn around and get a 10 count on you in as long as it takes the ref to say the numbers. I demand more transparency out of my wrestling games, otherwise I put it down feeling that no matter how well I do every victory is at the computer's leisure, and every defeat is because it didn't want me to win.
Oh yeah, that’s right, I played Rumble Rose.

Then which game were you describing in your previous paragraph. Most of it was accurate, but there's certainly no way to get a 10 count in Rumble Roses since there's no ref.

It's really the closest they have. And I don't remember what they counted to, some wrestling number like maybe 3, or 10, or something. I generally try to avoid wrestling games for the reason I described so I'll put about 8 hours into one every now and then.
The mud wrestling in RR also looked a bit creepy, hopefully they'll sort that out now that they have more powerful hardware.
