A Look Back at Xbox

Well the Xbox 360 has launched in Europe today and we thought it was the ideal time to take a look back at the history of the original Xbox. You can read one of our writer's personal views of the console's history over at Boomtown (http://xbox.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=9957).

While head office is busy messing with its retail and debug consoles I'm sat here waiting for my own personal retail unit which is due for delivery today. I'm not exactly a model of patience right now.

I remember killing a man by hitting him with my giant, heavy XBox console. Well, he didn't fall over right away. I had to bludgeon him with the original "boat" controller.

Umm.. it wasn't that long ago.. I think we all remember the... what was it .. the xbox? I think we all know what that was about.
